look, its going to happen, sooner rather then later. however, there is a debate in his number retirement. when they raise his 39 to the rafters, what banner do they use? in his 9 seasons in buffalo, 5 were in the black and red era, and his best seasons were in that era as well. they never missed the playoffs in those jerseys when hasek was the starter. however, it seems the black and red era is now largely ignored. like it never happened. so what do you think? when all is said and done, what would you prefer?

i say black and red, no doubt about it.

I would love for the raging buffalo head to be our third jersey. In black and red or maybe tweaked to an updated blue and gold. I know somebody here at one time gave us a sample of what it would like like in the new/old colors.

I'm cool with them going with the color/logo of the goat era for Dom as long as it follows the same format and style as the retired banners currently hanging in the Crossroads Marine Midland HSBC First Niagara Arena Center.

I mean shit, if they're going to leave the divisional banners and Presidents Trophy banner as they are which honor those past teams with their (at the time) colors and logos, then this makes sense to me.

i know the changed and replaced the 96-2006 era banners recently. 97 division champs and 99 conference champs banners.

they are the goat banners. but they changed them from how they originally were, to match the old banners.

a PS2 version of nhl 09. they actually had the arena ALMOST right in 05 (most arenas were right in 05) and they just used a generic arena for most of the arenas after that. stupid.
