I'm getting a really good vibe about this year. Obviously, the aquisitions are a big factor, but also stuff

like this. I remember when they announced how we would start the season in Germany, and I

remember being mad because it's one less home game, but this is really good. It seems like they're

really bonding and having fun, and the new guys fit in as well. I have a feeling that when they normally

play, it's practice, game, go home and sleep. Maybe sometimes they grab a bite to eat, but when

they're together, it's usually all business. They seem to be a lot more active in the community and

having a lot more fun. Here, they really look like great friends and teammates and seem a lot closer

than they have been in previous years. Other things too, such as visiting the hospital. I have a feeling at

the end of the year, they'll be looking back after winning the cup and think about playing in Mannheim

and the great atmosphere, and how they were so welcomed in Germany. And they'll have that

American flag that the soldiers signed somewhere in the locker room or player lounge. This is by far the

most exciting pre-season ever. I'm so excited for the season.

I LOVE watching videos like that, where they're just being themselves.

- Ennis seems so high every time he talks

- Roy OOZES the fact that he thinks he's the stuff. He's definitely a leader though. I loved seeing him laughing in the back of the bus, even if he was the only person wearing sunglasses.

- Why in the hell was Vanek just sitting there? For God's sake, just crack a smile or something!

Seems like a tight knit group. I'd love to see them on a 24/7 sometime.

Some things I noticed:

-The 'core' of Pommers, Roy, Gaustad (and Vanek) seems like the leaders of the group. Plus Leopold.
-It's nice to see Luke Adam fitting in so well
-Hecht is a really shy person
-Vanek looks way too laid-back
-Erhroff was probably planning some things for the game on the phone
-At 2:31, Ennis looks so high when he says "the kid!"
-Who's 'Moe'? Shaone Morrisonn?

Ennis seems pretty grounded. He does not seem like the type of guy to let success change his overall demeanor. And I think that boy is going to make some noise this year.

All I could think while watching that was how good must it feel to be a Buffalo Sabre?

Hockey Night in Buffalo

lol it looks like Vanek is packing a lip the way he just raised that bottle to his mouth and spat into it! but all in all its always fun watching videos of the team having a blast! Go sabs!

I loved Staff just out of nowhere "Hey Luker, it's better your bag's in Buffalo than Rochester" and then laughs. Barely even lifts his head up to chirp "the kid".
