Big sports night tonight. Hockey is back! The Bruins raise their championship banner and host the new-look Flyers. The Habs and Leafs meet up. Then the Penguins open the season in Vancouver in my time zone. 3 good games to get us ready for tomorrow. Oh, and there's some baseball game too.

What are you gonna watch?

Myself, I plan on squeezing in as much hockey as possible live, then recording the baseball game and watching that on the superquick. There's so much dead time in baseball anyway. In fact, a probably wouldn't care about the baseball game one bit if my dad wasn't a lifelong Tigers fan. I'd rather watch a regular season Sabres game than the seventh game of the World Series really.

Also, I missed the game that will get the best ratings around here: the Cal Bears meeting the Oregon Ducks on ESPN. Three sports competing for your viewing eyes.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

Pretty kick ass party the NHL is throwing in Winnipeg today. They just showed it on Center Ice , Three Days Grace are on stage right now. Ok, someone needs to tell Don Cherry that it's not Christmas yet....

I'm watching nothing since every stream site has been either seized by homeland security or taken down somehow.

I'll probably get Gamecenter Live soon then in order to watch Sabres games.

No I didn't. I watched through streaming sites the entire year.

I know you get home and away feeds, and commercials are blocked and I don't think you get intermission, which sucks, or that's what it seemed whenever I'd watch on some streams who had Gamecenter Live.

I've subscribed to Center Ice for years, but now that we have an ipad, I'm kinda interested in Game Center. Mainly I like the mobility factor if I'm out of town. I wonder about the video quality w/gamecenter and the fact that if I can't watch a game live, it sounds like I have to wait for a day or something. Anybody know about this stuff?

I'll be watching hockey and only hockey. Right now I'm sticking mainly to Tor-Mon because I want to get a better read on Kessel (on my fantasy team) and this is a NE division contest. Pray for no OT!

I'll also check in on Bos-Philly, because I want to see how the retooled Flyers look, and Seidenberg for the Bruins is on my fantasy team as well.

Baseball sucks.

I'm watching the same game, Ham. Only because our center ice HD stations are fuckard for the night (As mentioned in the GDT for tomorrow)

They best fix this shit or I'll be pissed.

since ive been born, the tigers have reached the post season 4 times. once, i was 4 months old. the other time i was 3. i dont experience this very often. im going to relish october baseball in detroit. this is why detroit was named the best baseball city.

when the sabres are playing april and beyond, baseball is an afterthought as well. POPPED UP!

The Leafs begin the season with a shutout by Reimer. Steckel, Tronna's latest acquisition, actually played an important role for the Leafs, munching minutes on their PK (which has been near the bottom of the league these past couple years) and winning lots of faceoffs.
