The NHL will have to give special consideration to all players checking Gerbe, since there will be a lot of head shots. On the other hand he may cause some knee damage.

(Sorry, I was talking about Gionta's height. Gerbe is 5'5")

Yeah, no way is he 5'7. I'm 5'3 and I've seen him in person before and he's definitely not that taller than me. I'd say he's no taller than 5'5.

Do Gerbe and Myers always stand/skate next to one another? Wonder if this is for a comedic effect or if they are very close friends. Or perhaps I just subconsciously see these two together in photos. Maybe Myers looks at Gerbe as his mini me lol. Whatever the reason I hope they keep coming.

And this honestly may be the best pic we could ever see. Traffic in front but a clear line of sight to the shooter. This is what reaffirms my thought that the Vezina trophy winner will be Miller this year. Bruisers up and down that can clear the lanes.
