I've been watching Halak since '06-'07, when the Habs first brought him up from the Bulldogs.

The kid isn't spectacular, but he's money. Always the less flamboyant and more reliable. No big pressure on him, and he's come along nicely; maturing in to a very respectable and consistent goaltender.

The Habs have been looking for the "Next Roy" and every time the newest "chosen one" falters (and there have been a couple)...there's Jaro Halak. Solid.

I like the kid - He can grind it out.

Yeah, I have been following him since he first stepped onto the scene as well and this is pretty spot on. I'm not as high on him as I was Craig Anderson, but the kid can play. And his name is Jaroslav. Awesome.

I did enjoy seeing Gomez get pushed into the boards in the third. Did you see how pissed off he got - all I could remember was what he did to miller last year, with no retribution!!

Yeah, Kozlov dumped him head-first...I didn't know whether to be angry at the recklessness of the hit, or laugh my ass off at how Gomez reacted.

He was sooooo pissed. He deserved it.

I laughed so hard at that. It was awesome.

Makes me wonder if they shouldn't just name him starter, at least for now. Price isn't the answer at the moment, and it's not a good idea to keep playing him.
