As a hearing impaired person myself, I honestly find it stupid when people say shit like that. Honestly, if someone is going to insult me, do a better job than insulting me for having hearing aids/hearing impairment. Saying stuff like that just makes you look like an idiot. People in school would do that all time time, and it got old fast.

i have a hard time hearing, and the comment i always get is "your hair is blocking your hearing!"

no, asshole. im going deaf. especially my left hear. its all crackly and shit.

Yeah, They only had it in a Large on the two websites I looked on, and I wear a medium (not that big of a deal I guess) So I decided to go with this one instead.

I found the shirt in a large now, it's on its way. I dont care if its Halloween or not, its a sick ass shirt and I'll wear it out on a friday night to a bar, lol.

Stupid people say stupid shit. I usually just ignore them, because if they're going to say something that stupid, it clearly isn't worth my time to get upset over it. Besides, after dealing with it my entire life, there are relatively few insults that I haven't already heard regarding my hearing loss. While it sucks, you'll eventually get used to it and learn to ignore it. Then you come up with fun comebacks that make them feel bad about themselves.

my condition was discovered just two years ago. i was told my hearing probably wouldnt go too much, but it turns out its going quite a bit.

it doesnt bother me too much that i have this condition, it is what it is, but i dont want that to be a focal point of teasing.
