seems as though alot of players didnt bother showing up.

They haven't showed up much since the got back from Europe. I'm leaning towards Lindy. This has been our ut bitch for years and nothing ever fucking changes. When will they realize that it may not just be the players????

How many time last year did we come here and say "wow, only if they played a full 60 minutes" "They just mailed it in this game" etc etc etc.

I agree with you. Lindy's a great coach but his tactics with the line juggling doesn't really do anything to build any chemistry. But waaaay to early to can a coach. And no one can really say it's because Roy's not 100% (Despite what some people may think, he's not a #1 center, and could be used as trade bait for someone that is. His contract this year is ok compared to others but it does go up next year by a mill or so next year) or because Ennis is out (Common guys the guy has 0 pts in 7 games so far).

We did great in the first few games of the year with a really hot 1st line and a lil secondary scoring and unbelievable goaltending. Now it's down to a hot 1st line, virtually no secondary scoring and let's be honest here, Miller looks out of place. Letting in softies here and there are what lose you games in this league. But our back-up has shown great promise... And is out performing Miller in every statistical category accept GP and wins.

With the 2nd best offense in the league coming into town on Wednesday in the Philadelphia Flyers and a poor home record I'd hate to see what the Sabres come out with on game day.

Leino, Roy, Stafford, Gragnani have been quite terrible in the past two weeks.

Roy: Probably still hurtin or just isn't feeling it yet
Stafford: When he skates, drives and cycles he's a beast. When he's not doing either of those things he's meh.
Gragnani: Alright, time to see Weber
Leino: Perma-hungover

How Lindy is blamed for this I don't know.

The ref gave Gerbe a bullshit penalty then gave him another penalty because his feelings were hurt. Refs suck ass.

Roy: Man still can't believe people saying that Roy is injured that's why he's struggling. Roy newsflash if you are not at 100% and you being one of our top contracts sit the fuck out. And there is nothing wrong with Roy. I don't know why people keep saying that. He had a hot streak last season that's all that was.

Stafford: That's why I didn't want Darcy to resign the guy. The guy doesn't show up on a game to game basis and I believe the Sabres got screwed when they resigned him to that that 4 year $16 Million contract.

Gragnani - Looks out of place in the NHL. Always seems to give up at least 1 breakaway to the opposing team every game. Can we send him down, without the possibility of anyone picking him up?

Leino - Wow this signing is looking like a bust so far. We should have payed more attention to the fact the guy played with Giroux and Briere more than we did his Stats.

I don't know if anyone is keeping track but so far

Leino GP 10 ---- PTS 2 (1G 1 A)

Connolly GP 2 ---- PTS 2 (1G 1 A)

Every new signing takes 20-25 games before you feel like you've given him a fair shake Ehrhoff isn't exactly what I'd like him to be yet either, and he's my favorite new guy.

Roy isn't 100%, he admitted that, but the man looked pretty good yesterday. Even Roby and Sylvester commented on how much better he looked yesterday than games prior.

gerbe had a reputation of having an attitude problem/being a douchebag. i figured he may have grown out of it, maybe not. but it seems as though that reputation proceeded him if thats indeed how it went down.

Over the past 6 seasons, Roy is averaging 0.91 points per game. He's a #1 center.

Roy isn't a number one center, we all know this, and Vanek doesn't backcheck.

Can we move on from the made up stuff yet?

What was untrue about my statement?

1. The fact that Roy isn't a #1 center.
2. Gragnani has looked out of place in the NHL so far this season.
3. Leino seems like a bust.
4. The fact that Stafford takes off nights all the time thus IMO I bad move in resigning him.

Roy can be a number one center and believe it or not has been playing better than some of the other so called number one centers in this league.

I think we can all agree that Grags needs to be swapped for Weber

Impossible to say someone is a bust after not eve 10 games

Stafford has always taken nights off, he got 9 of his goals in 3 games last year, we all should have known what was going to happen.
