And I guess we'll always roll with Enroth, then. If his idea of bouncing back is basically "GTFO, I always bounce back" then we'll roll with the hot goalie.

So you're making the decisions now? I'll let Lindy know.

I'm sure Lindy will put Enroth in after Miller "the piss pot" lets in some more shitty goals.

I think Miller will bounce back. He doesn't have much of a choice when you're backup is playing like Enroth.

I'd think he will bounce back but his demeanor so far makes it like he thinks it'll just happen and that he doesn't have to worry. He's also being a little boy about it.

B&Y i fail to see how you are getting any of that from miller saying "the fans have the right to boo" and "i dont like going out there and getting lit up"

I don't like how the Buffalo News dopes are apparently poking at Miller like it's their new sport or something. Don't have Connolly to use as a whipping boy, so now it's Miller? They have a job to do by asking the right questions after a game when Miller (or any player) has a bad showing. To keep harping on it like it's some corny soap opera, secretly begging for Miller to provide more drama for their fodder, is just exactly why Miller, other athletes, and fans like me hate the typical media hack that's never picked up a ball or a stick in his life.

Just because he had a semi-shitty response after a bad game doesn't mean they have to dig at him, drumming up a false goalie controversy like he never stood on his head and carried his team before.

You and Miller must have had a long chat about this, huh? Do tell.

I do wonder how Mr. Pegula likes the fact that his star player says ANYTHING sour about the teams fans?? We are the ones who fill the seats and buy the swag..I would bitch-slap an employee that talked bad about my corporation in the national media..

Aside from the "Meh, let the fans do whatever" and the "I'll bounce back soon" isn't good mentality for a goalie.

I love how this thread was created because he seemed to be blasé to the fact that fans are booing him so people perceived him as not caring anymore, and then a few days later he comes back with a fiery attitude and saying that he wants to "win a fucking game" he is perceived as an asshole.

In the wise words of Miller...whatever.

He didn't say anything bad about the fans. He said they reserve the right to boo or cheer when they please.

1) I agree with your response to Todd.

2) I don't think he's an asshole for saying what he did (re: win a fucking game), I'm glad he said it. Thing is, for me, that's still more frustration coming out of a goaltender touted to be "cerebral". I don't know if he's got that edge any more, and this reaction, to me, at this point, is too little too late. I want him to succeed. I want him to return to Vezina form, but I don't give two fucks about the man, I want those things for this team.

I understand that and believe me as much as I'm a Miller fan I care more about the Sabres than him. I don't care if Enroth starts over Miller if it really means the Sabres have a better chance at winning.

I don't get the "too little, too late" thing you said though. I mean it's the beginning of November. Miller has played a small stretch of games where he hasn't been good enough. I think we'll have to see how he responds after being benched until we make assumptions that his attitude right now is too little, too late.
