So you're discounting the points we're earning now, like they're worth less in April?
you said the season starts in october, not february or march. its still a season in its infancy. its been a bad stretch of 4 games.
do people forget that the greatest goalie in sabres history, hasek, wouldnt get into his groove till mid november to early december? why is millers "slow start" suddenly this horrific catastrophe?
people are not just overreacting to 4 bad games, they are completely letting it override 6 seasons of steller play.
A bad stretch of 4 games doesn't exist in Ryan Miller's world. Sure, it happens in the Buffalo Sabres' world, where one piece or another will be off, but Miller has (to this point) proven to be more consistent and resilient. THAT is why we're reacting the way we are.
And please - don't compare Hasek and Miller.
then dont hold miller to these ridiculous expectations. you dont want to compare miller and hasek. even though hasek started seasons slow. and had bad stretches of games, worse then what millers going through. they happen. to everyone. to roy, to hasek, to dryden, to tretiak, to belfour, to brodeur, to richter, to everyone.
this miller witch hunt is nothing more then fans making something out of nothing. and of all players that is currently putting on a sabres jersey, no player should be more immune to a witch hunt then miller.
these unrealistic expectations are warping your perception. im not trying to pick on you man. really, im not. but you gotta step back and look at things beyond the 4 game stretch.
and trust me, its not just you. other fansites are even more harsh then you.
