Shannahan and the NHL are a fucking joke. Shanny called Ruff irresponsible because he said that if Lucic wasn't suspended it would mean goalies can be targeted outside the crease. WTF? The comment is irresponsible but the decision isn't? That's just stupid.
This decision means as soon as the goalie is outside the crease I can hit him with full force and will get 2min as long as I'm not changing direction. Of course if you can say "no, I didn't" convincingly afterwards in a conference call.

I would hit Thomas or Rask no matter what kind of warning the NHL will send. Sending a big "fuck you" to Boston and Shanny is way more important than any kind suspension.

So the 2 seconds from when Miller chucks the puck away from Lucic, There was no way for Lucic to change direction? Stop? Slow DOWN even? He wasn't even pushed into him. It was "lets go bowl into Miller for the hell of it" from Lucic, nothing else!

I would be seriously surprised if anything happens that game. Lindy will warn the team not to do anything for fear of extreme retribution from dickbag Shanahan. I have absolutely no faith in Lindy or the team that they would do anything other than what the league orders.

Shanahan calls the Sabres irresponsible? Give me a fuckin break. What was irresponsible was Lucic bulldozing Miller over, causing him to get a concussion, and then Shanahan not reprimanding him for it because he said he didn't mean to hurt Miller.

How many other assholes are going to take cheap shots and players and claim they were just "playing hard" and did not without an intention to hurt? I thought the NHL was going to start to issue a no tolerance policy that it doesn't matter if you intended to injure a player, a dangerous play is a dangerous play and you will get in trouble for it.

The league is a joke on officiating and suspending people. I thought with Shanny's 5 or 6 suspensions in preseason things might change, it obviously hasn't.
