I was just thinking the exact same thing. Just because a guy was a great veteran leader doesn't automatically make him a good coach. I can see where the Cunneyworth stuff is coming from, but why in God's name did Teppo come up in the conversation? What's he done?

Cunneyworth is under contract with the Hamilton Bull Dogs. So if by chance Lindy were to be canned during the season he would not be available, and of the coaches who are available I would say maybe Crawford. Not a huge fan of his(Bourque over Gretzky, I will never forgive him for that) but he is a guy who can get the most out of his players.
