I don't think it's that he's afraid, he probably just doesn't want to make it seem like a big deal. It's not something the team is all that concerned about and they talk about it openly. I just don't think he wants to make a bold statement about race being a factor and having it cause an uproar, when they really don't think it's a big deal.

It's not, but why try to draw something negative out of him? Why even write the article? This whole thing was done in very poor taste and the writer should be fired.
