Unless they are decided to include full versions of photoshop or some sort of CAD software, why does anyone need that in a phone?

I'm not going to use my phone to make 3D models where a quad core system would be recommended. Do you need quad core in a phone, or are you one of those people who will just be like, I got it, but I'm never going to use my phone where it will ever need all four cores.

ill use the fuck outta all 4 cores and demand 4 more for the 3D porn ill make from my phone.

I just ditched my Blackberry tour today. The 4th blackberry in a row I've had (hey, they used to be a status symbol).

I picked up the Samsung Droid Charge.
I wanted LTE, and I prefer HTC handsets, but it came down to this or the Thunderbolt and the Samsung wins on battery life.

My wife has had a droid for a while and that's pretty much what sold me.
I could have paid less for an iPhone...suck it Apple.

/no, I really like Apple products, just not their tyrannical control of of their phone ecosystem.

Sometimes, man, I question your intelligence.

EVERYTHING the phone runs is a full fledged program, DESIGNED FOR A PHONE. The more processing power, the more robust an application can be.

Like I said, you're saying "stop at the model T". Do you own a smartphone? If so, consider yourself a hypocrite. Because one day, someone with just as closed a mind as you had said "why do I need to do anything more than make phone calls?"

THIS is why:

In that case, run along little iDroid. These aren't the phones you're looking for.

You know exactly what I meant when I said full fledged programs, I'm talking programs like AutoCAD or Photoshop.

I own a smartphone, I've owned only smartphones since I've had a cell phone. If you need 4 cores on a phone, then buy a goddamn computer. Because a computer will actually be able to fully max out 4 cores if you got the programs to do so.

Question my intelligence all you want. Don't like why I don't see why it's necessary, fine, don't try and change my views.

And once again Mike, don't put words into my mouth. I own an iPhone, I love it, work better than any phone I've played with. Don't agree with that, well you're not the one who is using it are you. Just because I have an iPhone doesn't mean I think it's the best, your arguments about android is what typical fanboys say anyways.

I'm done with this thread, you guys are too thickheaded to ever have a reasonable debate over anything.

We're not the ones trying to say that technological advances are unnecessary and pointless. In the 60s, they said nobody would ever need a home computer.

You are the thickheaded one here, not us.

I don't know if I've posted this in here yet, but I am currently the owner of a Droid Incredible 2 and I am a huge fan of it.

its a windows phone. ive never used a windows phone, BUT i hear the OS is very similar to the zune OS. i LOVE my zune. its so simplistic. if you want a simple phone, thats it. itll still do all the great things you want. just the interface is so simple to use.
