What I don't understand is why we play the style of offense that we do. We don't need a blue liner rushing up the ice every fucking time. We have more then enough able body forwards who can do the job. We have plenty of good forecheckers and plenty of guys with speed. The blue liners who can carry the puck is a special commodity and should not become a common occurance on every shift. If the ice is open and you feel you can break free then go but trying every time is purely stupid.

Especially at the beginning of the season Lindy had the defense pinching hard and it cause significant turnovers. I think he felt, with the additions, that he can have a massive team offensive that overpowers the opponent. Unfortunately they were a massive turnover machine instead. I think he's fixed that to a point but there are still way too many turnovers IMO, especially during the PP.

Looks like an article that is one of those "putting words on paper for the sake of it". People said the same shit about Drury wanting to play out in California too.

Nothing imminent doesn't mean he isn't being shopped around.

no, nothings gonna happen for a little while. supposedly, toronto has kadri and schenn on the table for him, along with other pieces. just the word on the street. supposedly buffalo has interest.... but nothing concrete or anything worth taking as 100% fact on buffalo being in. but yeah, ryan to toronto has been swirling and i guess burke wants him back super bad.

Would make sense with Ron Wilson and Brian Burke's involvement with team USA in 2010.

Miller's interview today was great. I think people need to give him a break. Yes and I know people are going to say, "He's been given a pass by the media and fans long enough!" Okay, you're probably right.

But look at the bigger picture here, he's done a lot for Buffalo both on and off the ice. He's a very consistent and strong goaltender, a respected leader, and has done a lot for this community through his foundation. This doesn't sound like someone who doesn't care about the city or its fans.

The season so far hasn't been great for him, he hasn't been playing up to standards, but he's also been sidelined with an injury for several weeks so he hasn't had a chance to get back into form.

Miller is very honest and candid in his interviews, and sometimes that gets him in trouble. I respect him for that, even if he says things that I don't necessarily agree with or handles something badly. But I still respect him that he's honest and isn't going to shy away from how feels, whether it's good or bad. Sometimes it makes him come off as an asshole, but whatever...no one is perfect and he sure isn't. He's just a great goalie playing in the NHL. Nothing more, nothing less.

His recent interview with the Buffalo news alleviated all of my concerns.
