Just curious as to the thought of people on Kassian are. I love his play and I think he has earned a regular spot on the roster regardless of returning injured players.

He's definitely making it a tough decision. I wouldn't mind seeing him hang onto McCormick's spot in the lineup.

I was a big fan of keeping him down in Rochester for the season so that he could develop his skills, but he keeps proving himself.

I didn't think Kassian was NHL ready, but he's been looking damn good. If he keeps up this play, it's gonna be a real tough decision.

I totally agree. They are better than watching Roy and that lazy ass Stafford.

You know, I really like cody, but if the choice is between him and Kassian, there really is no choice, Kassian all the way.

I like Cody quite a bit too. But it's either him or Kaleta in the press box should Kassian stay. I'd prefer to keep Kaleta in the lineup.

Kassian will only stay in the line-up due to injury. If everyone's healthy (which will probably not happen again anyway) the cap situation will dictate that Kassian goes back to Rochester. Not that it's right, but that's what will happen.

He's ready for full-time position... As is McNabb. Kassian and Adam seem to have gotten Leino going so no way in hell should we break thAt line up. I'd say still start McCormick when he's healthy. But i wouldn't mind just scratching Kaleta from now on. He kinda sux...

I think you're way off if you believe McCormick is a better player/is more valuable to the Sabres lineup than Kaleta.

But you're entitled to your opinion.

Not to much distinction between the 2 if I were to give the roster spot to one of those 2 it would be McCormick. Kaleta gets votes by fans because well he's a local boy and he likes to be a "bruiser"... IMO McCormick is a better physical threat.

But if it were up to me I'd get rid of both and bring in Parros;)

McCormick is a better physical threat, but Kaleta is faster, hits harder, plays on our penalty kill, is more skilled, and brings more energy to this team than McCormick does.

I think, honestly, we've got enough skill on this team to go around. So long as Cody doesn't make stupid plays, he'd be worth keeping in the lineup. The tradeoff, though, is that you don't have Kaleta's nuisance ability floating around chirping at the opposing team. For that fact alone, I'd stick with Kaleta.

Exactly. If you've never actually played hockey before, you don't understand what this brings to a team. Kaleta's actions bring a lot of positive energy to the bench. Not something I'd like to sacrifice for Cody's fighting abilities.

I'd want a McCormick, Kaleta, Kassian line if possible.

The thought of this makes me smile.. Oh how I would hate being out on the ice against this line..

I feel that Kassian is too skilled for that line. He needs to be a top 6 forward with his skill set.

Agreed. Or at least on the 3rd with Luke Adam and somebody else. Maybe Gerbe.
