This team is so damn frustrating to watch. How many others on here are tired of Roy taking stupid penalties and his damn dipsy doing around the ice. I have to admit I was super pumped up about this team taking the next step but the only thing I'm excited now about this team is watching McNabb and Kassian. I know we have so many players injuried but even when half of them get back some players need to stay and some need to be moved off this roster.

Can someone give me a brief rundown of what happened? I used to follow the board all the time but didnt post. This place used to be fucking packed

There was a division between some Canadian and American posters. Things got emotional, someone got banned, there was some in-fighting among mods, shit hit the fan, etc. A significant number of people left the boards after that. Escalation, things getting out of hand quickly and people overreacting all round.

im not really sure why but it keeps coming back up. and id love for this place to make a comeback but its just dead right now.

I'd love it if this place was pumping again. I've looked around and the other boards don't even come close to this one. The only thing that they have that we don't is numbers. Friggen shame.

Something that sparked a lot of the tension was the political thread. I left for a long time too but came back. We have been friendlier in their recently but I think we would be better off without it. I have yet to see a single person's mind changed in there. I miss when this place was hoppin'.

^^^Agreed. The only people who will change their minds are the uneducated. And we all seem to be fairly sharp individuals. We are all steadfast in our beliefs and probably for good reason, whatever that may be. I really would not mind a closer eye being tended to that because we all seem to turn on one another for no real reason.

When a group hasn't enough close friendships the group tends to split into 2 fractions. You can say it was inevitable

I thought I saw Squanto on another forum because the guys avatar is that weird picture of Miller that Squanto used to have. Upon reading his posts I quickly determined that it wasn't him. This guy was a complete fool. He's one of those fans who wants to trade and fire everybody if the Sabres lose. Definitely not Squanto.
