Reading back a few pages about how Droid releases stupid names for their operating systems, apparently Apple has stupid names for their operating systems as well.

you know how most phones take a few seconds to take pictures? apparently, the galaxy nexus camera is that fast.

apple won a patent infringement case on HTC, which will ban several android HTC phones from the US on april 19, next year. HOWEVER, google already announced the feature will be altered enough that it the ban will never come into fruition. so the ban wont happen. however, the patent that apple filled the suite over isnt even their patent, but a patent filed by another company in 1996. so thats screwy as all get out.

the oddest thing is the ban effects like the HTC incredible (no longer made) the EVO4G (still made, but no longer sprints flagship android phone) and another phone long surpassed. none of the new phones are under the ban. so the quad core phone will not be effected.

Microsoft also sues competitors for infringing on patents... Apple weren't the only ones.

Alrighty so I ended up getting the HTC Trophy for Christmas and it is a Windows Phone 7, I must say I am impressed, ive played around with droid and apple and while each system has their benefits, the WP7 OS has a lot of up swing to it so far.

All large tech companies stockpile patents and regularly purchase smaller companies solely for their patents in a sort of arms race.
It's like the cold war though...mutually assured destruction if one company goes after another the other company will just sue back.

Apple stepped up their campaign in an offensive move which is what's striking about their behavior....they're trying to take out android in the courts instead of in the market.

/the US patent system is also about 40 years overdue for major reform. Some of the patents owned by these companies are so broad it's laughable.

It does. It has a preinstalled xbox live app that you link your GT too and then you can see who is online from your friends, send them messages, and manage some things about your account. Another cool thing is that if you get games on this phone you can actually earn gamerscore towards your XBL account straight from your phone. But that is only certain games. but still pretty legit.

I only posted the Microsoft one because everyone was saying how Apple is trying to sue there way to getting stuff taken from the market, when Microsoft had done the same thing, but since it's Apple over Microsoft, everyone was like OMG APPLE WANTS CONTROL OF THE WORLD!!!!

Look at the comments, only four of them but 2 of them both mention one thing I don't like about a phone like that.

Screen is too big. The 5 inch Samsung Players are huge to hold.
