Have you ever held a phone or media player that had a 5 inch screen?

I'm also finding most if not every other rumor on it says a 4.65in screen, not this 5 inch screen from that artist render.

16 MP camera? That's ridiculously unnecessary. Some of the best DSLR cameras in the world are 12 MP, and photographers rarely shoot at that resolution due to static.

It's stat padding for stat padding's sake. I wonder who makes the sensor.

it's not even about megapixels anymore...unless you want a photo that's bigger than you. 12mp is the point where it really stops mattering as far as a reflection of price to pay. the glass and the zoom is where it's at. i mean, you can put a bills jersey on chris spielman, but in the end, he's still from ohio state...

theres also talk (talk i say because its not confirmed) that the iphone 5 will not be LTE enabled, because the LTE chip is thicker and apple doesnt want to compromise the look of the phone. supposedly, the screen size will be bumped from 3.5 inches to 3.7.

Exactly, It's more about the photographer's skill than MP anyways, plus the sensor size, and the lens in the camera's nowadays.

Three articles about MP and the irrelevance it has on meaning about a camera.

i don't know that i lump skill in with specs, because that's like apples and oranges. it's about glass quality, zoom, automatic focus, and aperture settings. a lot like the things that matter in film cameras.

Yea the technical part is important and so is the skill of the photographer.

The one article the guy was saying a lot does have to do with the photographer for a good picture though.

i must have not been clear. the absolute most important component for good pictures is a skilled photographer. but it's a moot point. you can't give top of the line bauer equipment to a guy who can't play hockey and expect that all of the sudden he can.

specs are the only thing you can discuss, is my point.

Very good comparison there. No argument there.

Verizon just announced that all new phones will have to be LTE. I highly doubt the 5 comes without LTE. I think there's a new world band chip that's smaller now that they can use for the iPhone 5.

Also, if they make the screen bigger, it means they have more room to fit things on the inside, so an LTE chip wouldn't be an issue.

verizon said almost all phones with a few exceptions would be LTE. until apple comes out and says its not going to be LTE, its all hearsay. but i got the impression that the report that it may not be LTE enabled, and verizon saying almost all phones would be LTE enabled pointed to the finger that the exception would be the next iphone.

True, but the exceptions are believed to be in the case of their PTT phones.

Every rumor out there I've read and looked up on the Iphone 5 says larger screen, 4" and I even saw some saying 4.3"-4.5" and 4G LTE capable and maybe quad-core to compete with the Galaxy S3.

And Apple would be stupid to not get in on the 4G LTE market. But they are always secretive about their products until they officially announce them.

I know I can't wait to see the iPhone 5 as it will most likely be my next phone unless someone convinces me to switch to Android or Windows Phones. Don't personally see it though happening.

One other thing, I really want to do this to my iPhone 4.
