Although I unofficially believed it was over in December

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

I still want a center at the deadline. Gonna have to trade for one anyways. May as well get it over with meow...

Season may be over, but I am fairly sure that management won't do what needs to be done to make next season better.

aye, stick a fork in it
At least when I go to the Ducks game later this month I won't have the added stress of expecting them to win :/

I'm wondering how many of the players would actually be happy to get traded. Half the team is playing price-reduction-hockey.

After last night, just do something. I'm even getting sick of it.

Season's over, but DON'T try and trade for a top C at the deadline. Buffalo can't afford to lose the players it would take to get one. Finish low and draft one of Yakupov/Grigorenko/Galchenyuk if possible. Trade all the pending UFAs and possibly more at the deadline and/or draft day in order to move up far enough to pick one of those players if they don't finish low enough.

The draft is where top Cs are acquired. Trading for one also means losing players and chasing your tail trying to replace them, and the cap hit hurts. Draft one for a cheap cap hit and you have a window to build around and take a legit shot at the Cup.

Good, so that means you can root for the Ducks.

Let me know where your seats are, and I'll watch for you on tv.
