I set a new personal record for laziness this morning.
I was sleeping on the floor of the nursery because the baby had a bad night sleeping. When he woke up I used a app on my phone to view the baby monitor rather than simply standing up to look.

Yesterday I built a bunch of shelves for my neighbors garage and then last night we built a work bench for him. The plan is to paint it is Sabres colors, hand paint a logo in the center and get some letter and logo decals to stick finish it out. I'll post pics once we start.

Awesome. Cannot wait to see it. Basement mancave already has homemade bar and beer pong tables down there. Looking to add a nice television mounted in corner behind bar and one by the wall. Ultimate goal would be to get white tiles and lay it out as if it were the ice.I would then paint the sabres logo on it and clearcoat over to give it some more gloss. Then along the corner wall I would build a sort of makeshift board and plexiglass. If I can find some old stadium or movie theatre seats that would be superb. Trying to get started on that within the month. I will probably start a thread for all mancaves, and not just my own.(And women caves)

My fucking pantry shelves fell down yesterday breaking bottles of soy sauce, sesame oil and the like. The jackass who istalled them used screws that were too shorts for the anchors, cheap anchors to begin with and had brackets that were too short for the wood. Now I have to have that conversation with my landlord about what he wants me to do. This guy better be thankful as hell he's renting to a guy that can fix shit and has the tools to get the jobs done. It started with the garage door. The side tracks weren't level so the rollers were binding. I leveled them, put spacers in and then un-tangled the cables going to the extension springs. Then I realized that the damn springs were way to burly for the light door and had to go pay 35 bucks for lighters ones. Now the door works like a champ. I've replaced the bathroom fixtures (towel rack, toilet paper holder...since there wasn't one, etc.) in the master bathroom and a few other minor repairs like new outlets but now I have to do shelves? fuck.

Those are freggin' sweet. They really are not that bad in relation to the cost. It is def a long term project.

So I was doing my routine virus check... Then my computer restarted. It comes on with the old Windows look, and purple/pink lines running vertically through it, fluctuating every second. So, I do another virus scan, because I was still able to click stuff and surf the web, and nada. So I restarted it again and it's fine now...

So, some of you may recall during the early hours on New Years day of 2010, I posted about a friend who played hockey with me, was stabbed to death at a NYE party and the bastard wanna-be, "Thug" responsible went on the run. They finally caught him in August of that same year and about 3 weeks ago, his murder trial began.

There was some thoughts that the case may be tossed since so many people are changing their stories from the original statements to the RCMP. Today, though, seeing the pile of evidence that was against him, and an additional 20 some witness who were at the party that night along with the rest of the evidence that was going to be presented to the court, the son of a bitch pled guilty to manslaughter!!

Alright men of the random thought thread, suggest strip clubs in Buffalo that I should go to. I'm doing research on strippers with one of my professors and our first assignment is to visit a strip club, observe for an hour, and then write up a report. Given that I know absolutely nothing about strip clubs in Buffalo, someone please make some suggestions haha.
