I was also thinking if teams are kind've taking it easy since the trade deadline is looming. Meaning that there aren't going to be a ton of fights and hard hits, etc.

Honestly, I wish someone would slash and slew foot Bergeron the way Boychuk intentionally injured Vanek. There was no 2 ways about it. If Vanek plays that series, the Bruins loose. We knew it, they knew it, we all knew it...and in the truest way of the Bear...if you can't match a player's skill, you injure them. (Wait...you mean like Crosby, Savard, Miller, Richards, and several other top players have gotten injured in recent years...the way the league is reverting back to its pre-lockout days, we're going to be watching a team of Boysucks and Thorntons out there...yay, that oout to be fun...oh wait, that's one thing other that the league commissioner helped kill the league.)

The really sad thing about what happened after Vanek went down is Boysuck and the Cubbies skipped over Roy and other of our veteran skaters and went after Ennis after they took out Vanek.

That's another reason why you deal Roy and Stafford and these players...they tend to suck in the playoffs.

Oh wait, Derek did have that great playoof year when he could play behind Drury and Briere....Oy Vey.

I like seeing them beat Boston even if it was in the Shootout. Boston is only a few points over Ottawa for the NE division, so it's not like they are unbeatable now.
