We have to beat either florida or washington head to head and both of them are playing good enough to stay a couple steps ahead. You know the saying, DC... Sometimes, bad things happen to good (enough) people. We may have to take care of this business with the Caps and Kitties ourselves, instead of depending on others to do our dirty work.

This may have an impact on our race with the Caps to get into 8th... Quote: Caps star Alex Ovechkin has left practice early after a collision with teammate Mike Knuble. There's no word yet on the nature of his injury but the Washington Times is reporting Ovechkin was on the ice for about two minutes being attended to by trainers before moving to the bench and eventually leaving. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/201 ... ctice.htmlEdit: Might be jumping the gun, I know, but news is news!

We're also rooting for the Bruins again tonight against the Panthers!

The only thing worse than having to root for the Bruins is when you have to root for them, then they shit the bed.

They have been pretty inconsistent lately. I wouldn't be surprised if Ottawa ended up winning the division. But of course the games where the Bruins decide to suck are the ones that matter to us...
