To Whom it May Concern,
Ice hockey is among the 4 major professional sports in the United States. Baseball, Football, and Basketball are all aired on networks like ESPN, TBS, and FOX.
How can you deprive fans of the last major sport in the country by trying to air their games on a package that costs more?
I recently moved out on my own, and I chose to become a Dish Network customer, due to your inability to show Versus on a basic cable package.
Stop trying to nickel and dime hockey fans, make yourself competitive with the other major satellite and cable networks by airing Versus on your basic package, and find other creative ways and new services to generate revenue.
Thank you for your consideration.
Cordially,
Adam.
Unfortunately, it's not the cable systems fault that hockey isn't shown on basic cable. It's the networks who have decided that hockey isn't important to their bottom line.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.
