so, i got back from florida almost 2 weeks ago. today im home from hockey and my shit stinks. i mean, its offensive. so i put it all on my drive way and let it air. while its airing, i check my stuff. make sure everythings in order. look for new puck marks. ect. and next to my pads, i see something weird. it looks like a lizard. but we dont have any lizards in michigan except the 5 lined skink. and ive never seen one in person before. so im all... no must be a salamander. cause its not a skink. i go look closer. it is indeed a lizard, and not a skink. its a crested anole. they live in florida. all i could figure out is it rode home with me, and been living in my car. and climbed in my hockey bag.



because its 55 here, and not 90, he was very sluggish, but still alive. he would die tonight if i didnt catch him (freezing warnings) so i caught him and hes in my old terrarium.

very very weird.

Hockey Night in Buffalo

I'm trying to find a local volleyball league but I'm having no luck. I could go all the way down to Virginia Beach but F that. Grrrr.

have you called around to bars? the only couple in buffalo aren't well publicized.

Hampton is terrible for bars for some reason. I haven't seen any courts and the only places I seem to find are a half hour away or more

So, my boss "Hypothetically" asked me tonight that if we were to open a site in Bellville, Ontario, if I'd be willing to relocate. Knowing the nut I am for being as close to Buffalo as possible, she recommended me for the position (which is still in the works), but with the Mrs being locked up in EHS for the next 3-4 years in her contract, looks like I'll have to decline said offer. Then I find out that 2 other sites are interested in bringing me on for the workforce analyst dept in the same region. Which kind of sucks, because being about 3 hours away from the Buffalo/Rochester area is MUCH better than 19+ hours away.

On that note, I'm getting drunk tonight.

Found a blank Amerks AK road/blue jersey and ordered in the front patch for it on ebay. Only off side of this, is that the collar is red, not blue, which will enable me to put my own stamp on this. The stars for the shoulders, I can make on my own. Now the only problem I face, is who do I slap on the back? Foligno 71? Or do I go back in time? Now that I know I can edge-ize a jersey, I may turn it current and make it for one of our kids who will likely be called up next season.

Since doing that Pommer WC jersey, I've felt a void in my life
