He's really become recognized as "A Natural".

A half-dozen games in. Nothing fancy...still making mistakes and looking to grow - But a true natural.

And with his size, that just makes for a fucking amazing package.

This kid is ridiculous. I cannot wait to see what he'll become!

Props to Kim Gellert, the mother fucker that scouted Myers all year long in Kelowna. He was my first minor hockey coach in Kelowna. He played in Italy a bit. He has all the skill in the world but he wasnt very big. I guess it takes a talent to know a talent. Either way thanks Kim.

Myers hasn't even really used his size yet; that will come. He is going on skill and ability to read the game. When he does start to utilize his size, he will be that much better.

Let him develop some confidence in his size, and increasing strength before wanting to see his pugilistic side.

for the millionth time, he got the max rookie deal for 3 years. he cant be signed to a long term deal for two more years. i suspect his second contract will be till hes 23, so he has to sign an impressive deal a year before he can become a UFA ( its 6 years in the league to qualify for unrestricted free agency, right? )

i think theyll sign him to a 2 or 3 year deal after this deal is up, so it takes him a season before he is UFA eligible. then they sign him long term. or he could pull a jay bouwmeester.

Crosby started at 18, so he can become a UFA at age 25.

yeah, good thing you revised that. crosby has a rep as a complainer, but hes wearing a captains C for a reason, and captained that team all the way to the hardware. i get why people hate him though, hes not on their team.
