I am surprised that people elsewhere on the internet are shocked by this... Pancreatic cancer is almost always fatal, swiftly. He had had it for two years. I know just what it looks like when death due to cancer is around the corner. He's looked that way for several months. A couple weeks ago there were reports that he was feeling better. That is always how it is, just before the end.

Shitty deals, but he did last quite a long time considering what kind of cancer he had. Very sad news to hear, even though I think we all saw it coming.
