6'0, 190 pound center. 26 year old former Hobby Baker award winner in 2008. 7 points in 35 games last year with the Avs, 25 points in 74 games the year before that. He'll probably spend most of the year in Rochester. Will likely be a depth signing unless he suddenly turns his career around.

hes a good player. saw him play at michigan alot. i like his game, but this is a depth signing. nothing more.

ANOTHER HOBEY BAKER WINNER???

Edit: With the signing of Porter, that makes five Hobey Baker winners the Sabres have signed in the past. Lo and behold, Darcy Regier has signed/traded for four of them.
