I think they should use a song which is easy to sing along, even with 8 beers.

I'm a big fan, but it's just too slow and heavy for a goal song IMO

The bell is the hook.

We should be different, screw all this super fast crappy crap for goal songs. Something downright heavy would be awesome.

Seriously what's wrong with Song 2? The Woo Hoo going through the arena was awesome.

Nod to the blues, yes. Generic, maybe...but I think that's a little harsh. They're not reinventing the wheel by any stretch of the imagination. But I see them as a solid fucking rock band with a rythmic swagger that makes them more than the sum of their small number of parts.

I dig the Black keys and I haven't listened to the radio for a decade. They give me hope that there are still enough people out there that love rock and roll to keep it relevant in mainstream music. there are better bands by the dozens but the Black keys are solid in my opinion. Now.....suggesting that we change to Three Dog Night is just embarrassing.

Not that this would be a good goal song but something that may get you back into some more present rock groups that are fairly talented.

Whole album is folksy goodness.

Yeah, that was a little harsh.
I guess my expectations were unfairly elevated since I've heard so many people talk about them.

I'm with you man. This song is perfect for a goal song.

It is hard not to bring them up in an era with Rebecca Black, crap country music, Katy Perry, and Justin Bieber just to name a few. Rap of all things has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Even though I'm not a fan of the song, it really is perfect.

My earlier suggestion was a joke. Only song I'm willing to bring to the table that I think is catchy and pumps up crowds is Jump Around by House of Pain
