My grandfather was one year older than he was when he died of cancer when I was eleven. What delightful memories.

Here's a random thought: take a knee buddy. Especially when you have everything to lose.

Have I mentioned how much I love these boards? I'm living in a place that doesn't at all feel like home to me yet, but coming on here just cures a little bit of that homesickness. It's really nice.

2 fucking a.m.......wife lets the dog out to pee....dog gets hit in the face with skunk cloud....wife lets dog inside....dog jumps into bed.......the until recently sleeping Pat is now having a shot of vodka while a freshly washed dog licks herself at his feet, the washer is cleaning the comforter and sheets, several sticks of incense and candles burn around the house and numerous ways to get rid of skunks flash across the internet in front of him. :angry-screaming:

class at 8 am definately sucks or maybe it was getting up at 5 am to drive from Silver Creek back to Tonawanda to get ready for class that sucks. I'm used to getting for work, not learning.

heres the kicker, is she a recently discovered lesbian? or were you naive to it? cause if its a recent thing, good chance its just a dable. alot of girls go gay for a little while. its culturally accepted and its all the rave.

I'm on one of Buff State's computers right now and it's making me remember how much I fucking hate PCs. No offense to anyone...I know every now and then there's a Mac vs PC war on here, but jesus these computers blow. Everytime I go on a PC I feel like I jetted back to 1996 or something.

I feel like that when I get on a mac, only because I'm not used to them. I like the esthetically but functionally not so much.

RT-I feel so official and professional. I bought a leather bound note pad for the interview tomorrow so I can take notes and keep my resume from getting wrinkled.

Depends what you're using. Most public computers are set up in a very basic and somewhat sluggish fashion. UB's public computers aren't great either (except for the Linux ones).

I've used a Mac a few times since I've been in college (there's a few people with them around) and I honestly can't say I like them. Probably because I'm not used to them, but it seems there's twice as many steps to do certain tasks.

I'm running my laptop with XP Pro, 4 GB of RAM, 2.66 ghz dual core processor. Running extended desktop with an external monitor. It runs very smooth.

If I didn't want to use Windows I'd probably go to Ubuntu. I've been using it from time to time recently and I have to say it is very nice. Doesn't seem worth installing two OS's yet though.

Yeah that's how I feel when I'm on a PC...I've only ever own Mac computers so I'm really Mac savvy. We have some nice Mac computers at Buff State, but they're all being used right now. :(
