Bad News- That 2nd Toronto goal hurt Miller's stats..
Good News- Toronto has 1 more point.. I don't want Boston to get the best player going into the NHL next year..

Miller's stats aren't going to be hurt to much. I think he'll still be good.

We truly are not worthy of Miller!

You know, all things considered, Buffalo is still 8-1-1.

Howie, when is Peter Gabriel going to tour again? Is he ever going to tour again?

Now I'm not holding my breath; but he has said that he is "not opposed to touring with Genesis again." He said this within the last month or so. As Tony Banks is up for it, there is at least a chance of this happening. It would of course include Steve Hackett as well. I think Collins or Banks said they should do this before one of them dies; which I think is perhaps a reference to Pink Floyd playing together before Richard Wright's illness, and subsequent passing.

I am (surprise) an enormous Gabriel/Genesis fan. The depth of their music was incredible. There are so many litterate references, and biblical references in "The Lamb Lies Down" as to be incredible. I doubt even scholars could fully interpret that one. Pete Townshend and Roger Waters must even be impressed by that one.

My fingers are crossed; I can think of no show I would rather witness. I am hopefull; but I'm not counting on it.

Gabriel tours, but his shows feature a lot of his newer stuff, which I am not too keen on. His daughter Melanie has been touring with him.

Check out Ross McKeon's latest power rankings. Not so much that he has Buffalo 4th, but look where he had them last week.

4. Buffalo Sabres (7-1-1, Previous: 24)

Caught by surprise, eh?

I'll put more stock in where we are ranked towards the end of the season. Every team has it ebbs and flows; but it's how they perform over the season that is the real lithmus test; other than playoffs. I would be so excited to see playoff hockey in Buffalo again!!

Lindy not happy with the effort largely; but, as he mentioned, we did hang in there.

Yes; we got off to a good start last year as well.

I believe Grier, Montador, and Myers can be difference makers.....
