No, he did not. Of course Bush invited conservatives in broadcasting to the White House, but not a FOX only meeting. The point that some on the more militant left miss is that never before has a president actively and openly attempted to bring down a news organization for showing disloyalty to The Party. That Obama publicly ripped FOX for having conservative opinion, and then invited the hard left MSNBC crew for strategic discussions, reflects something much more sinister than "fairness"...it's a power grab for Party controlled media.

ThinkProgress.org? It's a blog run by the Center for American Progress. It's more liberal, no argument about that, but generally pretty reputable. There are other sources that reported this same 2006 meeting if you want independent confirmation.

The point is that if you're going to criticize Obama for doing something, you sure as hell better criticize Bush when it's pointed out he did the exact same thing. If the act is so bad, then it shouldn't matter what party did it, right?

I never said Bush was perfect in fact I know he isnt. So ya no worries dude, I know that he isnt and I know he had his flaws. Plus I never said that the Obama admin. is the same as the Bush Admin, No way are they the same I know this No worrys. and thanks for that site, ill look into it more. Well, sort of. The problem here is social liberalism cannot Co-exist with fiscal conservatism without putting something on the credit card. But hey, I am a Ron Paul supporter so, i digress to a simplier form of governing.
The complexities of the issues are really quite simple for us Libertarians, hey Crosscheck

I do not believe in social safety nets, every person is accountable for their own actions, in turn, their actions should be driven to better themselves and their lives by holding themselves accountable for their actions.

The real problem with the "Right" and "Left" labels is that they are one in the same, both have spent the country into submission and put this great Republics future in jeopardy. Its merely a matter of semantics now, but back many, many and I mean many years ago the party platform did actually attempt to act on the platform for which it stood. No longer is this case. Corporatism through lobbying now controls this great nation and until people see the real light of day, this will continue.
