Another "statement" game - can't beat the cellar-dwellers, and you're nothing but so much sunshine and bullshit.

They're going to be physical. Sabres need to come out forechecking and taking the body, hard.

Stick to what works - Shell the net.

Sabres kinda sucked last year in the 2nd game of back to backs...

After a dismal performance last night, and possibly a backup goalie in tonight, this game may be more telling than we really would like to think.

Screw that. Ride the hot hand. Miller doesn't have another game until Wednesday.

This. And the Sabres missed the playoffs by 2 points last year. Fuck that. EVERY game is a must win, until Lord Stanley's motherfucking cup is hoisted by Ryan "Wonky" Miller.

Then, we can consider a game "NOT a must win"

Ha ha, fine, just start Miller the rest of the season! 81 games won't tire him out that much.

With how windy it has been here the past couple of days I would not be surprised that it might snow.

So at first I thought it was just me jumping to conclusions again, but after reading people's sentiments I've come to the conclusion that Lalime in the new T-bo.

He played like complete shit for us last year, had a crazy hip injury and surgery in a few month offseason, and for some reason we decided to keep him as our #2 goalie....

Goose and who else?
Any speculation based on this; "Paul Gaustad is the only player Ruff mentioned by name in his post-game comments, but said he is not the only one to be affected by it. Andrej Sekera, who has not played since Oct. 10 with a rib injury will be activated from injured reserve while Nathan Paetsch will move up to play forward to fill the void."

ETA: This is another one of those MSG away games in HD for certain carriers.

HEY SCHONY,
Trick or treat, smell my feet..........oh, oh wait, let take my sock off.......oh, oh......ahhhhhhhhhhh yes, what a treat this is (I had the silks on tonight  )

Sabres 5 - Islanders 0

And one happy sock to boot :o

I feel Lalime would fare well against The Barons, The Scouts, and The Seals.

Have faith, I think the way this team is playing, they will show up to bring home the victory.
Last night hopefully was a hicup in an other wise solid start.
Lalime, Miller, Enroth, Enos, the guy from the local 7-11 (ok, maybe not the 7-11 on North French in Amherst :P ) it doesn't matter. This team is for real, a new attitude to go along with some new teammates and I think a rejeuvanted and invegerated pep in their step will carry the day.

GO HECHT
