I see on TSN that Briere is out with a "tweaked" groin. I haven't heard anyone on these boards, but I remember people on the old boards still moaning about Briere and Drury. At $7 mil per; would you want either??

Drury might be worth it but I'd pass on both of them.

Neither are worth it, but I'd still love to have Drury.

8-1-1, I'd rather not fuck around with either of those two players.

...I guess they awarded him the second assist, later. (after the game?) I'm glad he's doing well.

Yes, we've seen some very generous assists this season. Some I would score as unassisted; yet their giving out not one, but two assists on.... :?

Toskala's save percentage is .812..... brilliant! 41'st in the league.

Carey Price's is a robust .884 by comparison; 37'th in the league.

Wonder who #'s 38, 39, and 40 are.............

Don Cherry just honored two Canadian Soldiers who were killed this past week. Touching stuff. Anyone who hates on Grapes can kiss my fat ass.

Just saw the Ladd hit on D'Agostini; not as bad as I had heard. Vicious? Yeah, it was. Over the line? Not really.

Cherry is a class guy.

In spite of all his perceived bullshit, he's genuine. Sometimes, he moves me to choke up. He touches me, with his devotion to the kids.

The kids who play Hockey, and the kids who have fallen in a foreign land.

And I don't believe it's an act. Here's this grizzled old veteran player and coach, sometimes on the verge of weeping openly - This guy came from a time and place where men didn't do such things. It was strictly taboo. It takes it's toll on him, to fight back the emotions.

I think the tragedies, that he pays tribute to, affect him deeply.

The flushing toilets got destroyed by Philly. Wonder if they'll hit the panic button in Carolina now?

That was over the line, IMHO. D'Agostini moved out of his lane just in time, and Ladd, instead of getting beat, went for his head. Dirty stuff.

They've got Cole back, now. Maybe he'll wake them up? We all know that poor Eric Staal can't play without him...
