Lindy doesn't work his players hard enough - Ales is doing just fine under the "iron fist" of Torts, in NYC.

Did you watch the period.

The Sabres are the stronger team in shooting, skating, and passing.

No, I mean physically. I know Goose and Kaleta are out, but the team tonight has barely hit. When those guys are out you have to have people step out of their boundaries...

The only reason we looked better offensively is simply because we are better. They have to play with some grit like they did in the first few games.

Yea I know, but the team is playing well, more great in this game.

That is what happens without Goose and Kaleta. Rivet can't be the only one to hit.

I wonder how many of the players are playing sick.

He has to be the luckiest player in the NHL getting that kind of money due to a knee jerk reaction. Flip side, we as fans would have sought ought Mgt. and strung them up had they not matched the offer after what happened. Hindsight is wonderful.

He's starting to look (to me) like what many of you like refer to as "Alice Kotalik" out there.

Difference is Vanek will score 20 goals in 20 games at some point, and make us eat our words....

Vanek accounts for way more goals then he assists on or scores for our team.

Yeah for sure. We really have been better all around this game and I do believe we will still win

I just notice myself putting everything under the microscope and getting a little more nitpicky after such a strong start. Guess i'm just trying not to boost my hopes too high like last year
