Why would anyone agree to be in a Lifetime movie it's like career suicide.

just curious....how has myers looked tonight ?

blatant defensive zone giveaway to let Park walk in alone to score the Isles first goal.

Other than that he's just kinda looked flat like the rest of the sabres.... yeah a nice rush here or there on the powerplay, but nothing really substantial or exciting to talk about

I think I'm going to play some PS3, and not watch the third.

The bounces aren't in our favor either. Everything is Islanders tonight.

But some games are like that in an 82 game season also.

We can't win them all.

You are right....we will now need to score 5 in the 3rd. :D

You know what... we're going to have ALOT of injuries this year, players are going to get sick, shit is going to happen...
You can't use that as an excuse. It happens to every team, but we don't "take away" from wins when the sabres beat a team with the health bug.

No excuses, this is the NHL and every game is a must win.

AND we WILL have injuries in the playoffs... its inevitable, Good teams (winning playoff teams) overcome that adversity.

Darcy is the problem here. His lack of vision on the trade table inconjuction with his "hopefulness" that minimal changes will work has left this team stripped of its ability to achieve longevity.

You cannot say 1 loss to the Islanders is bad, hey, the Islanders are a unit currently finding success. What you can say about the Sabres (And many have by the way) is that they have not picked up skill and leadership that is missing.

Remember folks, we started last season roughly this way. And look where it got us.
Come on now, all of you can see the truth here, same team, same results. But I will tell you this, the players on this team that are contributing at every level seem to be the new players.

Wow, quit bitching.

Without Goose or Kaleta this team doesn't hit, we need those players in the line-up in order to have a physical advantage. Without them we are just like last year. Remember when they are both healthy this team has guys who will hit hard and keep the other players on their toes.

It's one game without them, we have to adjust to it also. Yes every team goes through it, and every team adjusts to it, but it doesn't always happen in one game also. It can take two games or three to adjust your play without those guys.

Injuries suck, and the Sabres can and will overcome it, we have until next Wednesday to adjust if neither are back. And I'm sure they will. They have plenty of time right now to adjust to the injuries.

And we are 8-2-1, so to say this team is doomed now is stupid. Please, I'll take two regulation losses in 11 games any day.
