...For me I had Rick and Harry during action and in between periods I had NJ feed ..

Last night on center Ice I had both feeds again, but this time, during the game I did get RJ on the "away" feed, but the video quality was soo damn bad I had to watch the NYI feed.

...it's tough enough to get used to "other" announcers and color men, but the lack of relevent local content for the pre-game, between periods, and post-game made it an odd and alien experience.

I didn't enjoy it. HD/SD...fuck it...it would be nice if they just went back to the way things were. As inadequate as they have seemed in the past, they're still better than this mess we've been given recently.

...and I thought Versus was bad - At least they have sound Hockey analyses, from the panel - This NYR/NYI/NJD crap is like fucking amateur hour.

Very two-bit; and very Noo Yawk - Noo Joyzee... fuck off, already.

Why are so many people having problems with this?
I haven't encountered one issue and even watched Boston v Rangers on MSG HD (not CI) this afternoon. I'll take HD over SD any day.

If you have HD capability, it's great - provided it's supplied consistently.

I think my major issue (regardless) was the inability to get the audio right.

I could see enjoying a BOS-NYR contest, expecting the local announcers and intermission-fare to be what it is. But in the situations in which the Sabres have been featured...a mess.

Wish I had HD, to make up for all the other shortcomings...I don't. So I gripe, because for me, the game night experience has gotten worse.
