I'm still not convinced that Lalime can't be a capable backup for us... I just keep thinking back to when Miller was hurt and Lalime played well enough to win us some games, but unfortunately the skaters in front of him couldn't. I don't know what has to be done to get the players to play the way they do when Ryan is in net when Lalime is in...but it's definitely frustrating and I feel bad for Patty.

I guess I want to see Lalime in a few more outings before I can form a stronger opinion on Patty. It's hard to tell when the team in front of him plays just as bad or worse than he does...but I guess it can be argued that it's a reflection on Lalime.

i just dont think it mattered who played net saturday. the team looked sluggish and biron was not to be beaten. just the cards that were dealth that day, i suppose.

I like Patty, too. I think, though, its a morale thing that runs through the team...Ryan puts such a trust factor out there, when its not there, they lose some focus.
