Psh. This one's better. ;)

I love all of these videos.

Someday these children will realize how fortunate they are to get to know their fathers.

Those videos are heartwarming...I remember watching a video of a kid being reunited with his father after they were separted during Hurricane Katrina, it really made me tear up.

I dared watch it, and did not cry...but that was sweet.

I watched it and didn't cry either.

what would have been terrible is if they said her dad was dead, then he surprised her, that would be more of an Aprils Fools Joke actually.

I'd like to strand all of those hippies in Antarctica with nothing but old growth wood to burn to keep warm and nothing but whale meat to eat.

That would have been just cruel to any unsuspecting child watching it who actually had lost a father. Eek. And cruel to the girl. Any parent who would agree to that is not a parent at all.

Agreed.

I never said it would be right in any way to do it. I said it would be terrible to do, and you shouldn't ever do it to a kid of that age.

You could possibly do it to an older person, but it would still be taken too hard to be funny at all, unless you have a sick and cruel twisted humor.

Trust me, if I ever saw it happen, I would just want to punch a baby.

I know what you meant. I was just adding to it, accentuating the cruelty, if you will. :P I could never, ever even think about doing that to someone, especially a child. I know several people who lost parents as children, one of them the 90+-year-old grandmother of a friend whose father died when she was nine. She's not over it, not even to speak of the rest, and to give a child that feeling for even one minute is just despicable.
