My ALL TIME favorite Flyers/Sabres fight...Lee Fogolin charging in and just beating the living shit out of Flyer goon Paul Holmgren after he cheap shotted and began punching Donny Edwards. I was at this game and it was one of my all time favorite moments EVER in sports. I believe this was 1978.

Oh EXCELLENT!!! I'd forgotten how those Sabres-Flyers games used to go! How I HATED Dave Schultz! But then hearing names like Referee Bruce Hood, Linesman Leon Stickle....the linesmen were tough buggers, weren't they?

And I've got to tell you, this is why I loved Jim Schoenfeld! Makes my heart race to see him going at it again, the taunting going on with Schultz. Damn, I miss those days

And I still really, really hate the Flyers. Biron & Briere never belonged there. Never. Bunch of goons & bullies first, hockey players second.

Schony fought Shultz once; I'd say Schultz won that one. I liked Horton putting Schultz in a bear hug once, and flipping him on his back on the ice. I'll give that one to Tim Horton.
