Sekera is questionable due to flu-like symptoms. That sucks, he was impressive on Wednesday.

In case I'm not too drunk to open my laptop I'll be able to watch the final minutes of the game :D

I'm feeling pretty good about tonight. Sabres win 3-2, no matter who starts in net.

I just got back from a week in the mountains camping in a wall tent and chasing elk - no Sabres news for a week - I am guessing Lalime is out, and am looking forward to watching the game tonight.

God I hate Philly!!

Miller and Sekera to play tonight.

Quote:
http://blogs.buffalonews.com/sabres/ Sabres defenseman Andrej Sekera, who missed Thursday's practice because of illness, returned for the morning skate today and will be in the lineup tonight when the Flyers visit HSBC Arena.

Ryan Miller will be in goal for the Sabres, with Ray Emery in the opposing crease. Adam Mair and Nathan Paetsch are expected to be scratched for the Sabres. Toni Lydman is injured.

I got called into an earlier shift today, so I'll be out of work by 8:30...so I'll get to see some of the game at least.

Well Enroth plays against the Bruins then. If the rookie steals us a point, Ill consider it a success. 2 points, a miracle.

But for tonite, just win, baby.

This game would be a beast to be at live! I'll have the TV turned up a little extra so the horn leaves my ears ringing going to bed.

Myself, I'd likely go with Enroth tonight. B's have a real bad taste in their mouths from last nights S/O loss to the Habs and will likely be out for blood against us. Best to have Miller in the nets against them. And like ETC said, a Miller/Thomas matchup is just awesome.

Enroth in the net, also, could possibly make the Flyers want to test him in his crease. I know it's kind of "Baiting" them, but god help the one who will take a shot at him in the paint. We're not as little as we used to be. They may have Pronger, but we have a bunch of pitbulls who will knaw his fucking ankles down and make that big Red-wood easier to knock off his skates! And, we have Grier.

I'm feelin a good ol fashion slobber knocker will be seen tonight gang!

LETS GO BUFFALO!

As per TBN...

"November 06, 2009Sekera OK to playSabres defenseman Andrej Sekera, who missed Thursday's practice because of illness, returned for the morning skate today and will be in the lineup tonight when the Flyers visit HSBC Arena.

---John Vogl"

Looks like it'll be Enroth tomorrow night. Hope the boys don't resemble how they've been all season long so far with back to back games. They need to play solid and give the kid his first win!

Well, Lindy started Miller back-to-back last week, is there any indication he wouldn't do the same thing now especially with Lalime out?

DOH! hahaha Ah well, I'm supposed to be busy working. No time to really review the thread to see what scoops have been added.

I'll consider this, a nice refresher for those who may be too lazy to go back in the thread ;)

Fuck, I hate 7:30 starts on weekends. I always miss the last period because I have to go into work. They better rack'em up early so I can go into my shitty ass job in a semi decent mood. Fuck never having weekends off EVER. I can't wait to graduate college and hopefully stop hating everything in my life.

Well, Lindy started Miller back-to-back last week, is there any indication he wouldn't do the same thing now especially with Lalime out?

I was reading earlier sometime this week i believe on the buffalo sabres website, and it was stated that due to the schedule being another friday, saturday, wednesday, friday like week it wouldn't be surprising to see Miller start back to back again. It was said due to the extra days off from saturday to wednesday, was the main reason he'd start back to back games again this weekend.

Lastly it was pointed out that until the schedule condenses in the next few weeks that's where we'll be seeing more of lalime/enroth play

http://sabres.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=504908 -----> the article from this past week

" What is all this panic about Patrick Lalime?

Let’s forget about the groin injury for a second. Lindy is not afraid to play Lalime. He and any coach will play Ryan Miller as much as he can without burning him out.

Why wouldn’t he?

Last week was the right time to play Miller in all three games in four nights. The team was on a roll and there was three days until the next contest. That’s actually the case until the last week of November when the schedule really condenses. Lalime will be needed then. "

So again not an official word from Lindy or anybody but just an indication that we may see Miller play another back to back scenario.
