Manning the machine gun on the Tyler Myers Bandwagon - just in case any teams have an idea of prying him away from us (3 GM's shot already)

The clarity is awesome...it's 1080i DLP.
I haven't noticed any motion blur at all, but I haven't had it side by side with anything else. Hockey is awesome on it and I'd bet that's probably one of the worst sports for blurring.

A ton of thanks for all of your input - picked up a 46" Panasonic Plasma (1080P) at walmart for $788 today, and just finished installing it - looking forward to the game tonight!!

A win would be a nice touch :P

Continued support from my homeys, thank you again MILM, I need all the help I can get. Now I get to bitch with the rest of the crew about watching HD without RJ, or listening to RJ on the delayed broadcast. Oh well, onward through the fog!!

How are you enjoying the set, though? Are you happy with the purchase?

Yes I am, thank you very much for your information and patience with me. It is a huge improvement.

My only complaint is that the Sabres blue was virtually indistinguishable from the Bruins black. I did try messing around with the color, brightness, and contrast, but wasn't successful during the game.

It's gonna take some time and patience to calibrate the TV properly. It's an incredibly tedious process.

Yeah, I'm guessing I might have to read the manual, LOL. That should also give me some insights on how to get all those annoying things off the screen while movies are playing, like "TNT more movie less commercials"

I will get there, I have the faith!!

Yes, it would be much nicer. But everyone perceives color and contrast differently.

To be honest the best way to set-up an HDTV is by a professional.

There are calibration DVD's out on the market that can help step a lay person through the process.
