That's it? No mas?

C'mon, now.

Even if we have to, we can miss a Veteran's Day deadline, and still have something substantial to offer for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving?

Please, try. Thanx.

We're at $940? I wanna see just one more person donate $30, so that we can be an even $1,000.

What can someone do to help that doesn't have spare cash laying around?

...the thought is what counts. Always.

Please, let other folks know about this worthy cause, and perhaps they can help, in their own way.

OH, I have a great idea...I have hands to work with, even though I haven't got a ton of spare cash. I would LOVE to make an awesome afghan for anyone to send over to their favorite soldier in Sabres blue and gold. Any takers?

I will also pass along the info to a large forum I'm on called 3fatchicks that is all about dieting, etc. It will get a ton of exposure there.

Thanks, Kris - That would be absolutely great. The afghan idea would be so wonderful.

Any exposure would be appreciated. Anything to keep these fine men and women in the forefront of our thoughts...

Many of us take our many comforts for granted. It is only right to acknowledge those who sacrifice their comforts (and so much more) on our behalf.

Cheers.

This is a great idea.

You've already met your goal, but I'll donate $20 anyways!

...Thanx, PSP!

Actually - I'm willing to match up to $1000, for a total contribution of $2000 - We're only "half way" to that goal.

I would have liked to see us go beyond that, as well.

We have now reached $1040. Many thanx, again, to everyone who has offered their thoughts, their time, their effort and their contributions hence far.

:D

Okie dokie, Ice. Yarn is cheap, but what you make with it means a lot to someone far away. I will have one done for Thanksgiving for anyone that wants to send it to a soldier. Let me know, PM me your address and I'll send it to you. I have to make one for a friend of mine's boyfriend in (GASP!) PENGUINS COLORS! But I'll do it for our darling Alan. The situations Jennifer tells me he gets himself into in Iraq...its the least I can do. I'll work on converting him to the blue and gold when he comes back. ;)

ItsMe, do you have your PayPal tied to your bank account? You can make a transaction from your bank to the PayPal for our donations directly if you have a Visa bank card.

Yep, got that, but after trying to find the account in which to transfer, I failed miserably. The only options I found were an e-mail address was needed or some other option which ran me around in circles. I tried the merchant thing and it was a link for me to sgin as a merchant....I'm obviously missing something......my ex wife said the same thing.....

Hey, folks - If anyone already has PayPal, and can credit funds to it, you can just go directly to the P4P site and contribute, using PayPal (with no service fee.)

I simply set up the PayPal for anyone who wants to transfer funds, but doesn't have one - Or wants to send a money order or check.

Just did it to make it easier. No need to transfer to my account, when you can transfer direct.

Cheers, and thanx again. Let's try to keep this going until Thanksgiving, and make it a sightly better one, for our troops and veterans.

:D
