No, we did not 'loose' the game last night. Unless the game itself, as an entity, was somehow contained by us...and at some point we released it, 'loosing' it.

Last night we just lost.

This annoys me so, so, SO much, I agree.

Thank you. Otherwise I would have to turn back into a read only member.
I don't even understand the caring continuum problem :) ... So, when someone says "I could care less" he/she usually means "I couldn't care less"...Is that it?

...an interesting observation: There is a single phrase (in the English language) which is a double-positive, that actually implies a negative.

"Yeah, right."

Well, two negatives make a positive
Two odds make an even
And two wrongs make a right.

Universal truths.

...and three rights make a left!

I hate prolly...its spelled PROBABLY.

I also have a pet peeve of my daughter's. She has started with the, "I know, right?" trend. It drives me nuts, but I don't want her to stop because every teenage girl needs to have an annoying verbal habit...I know I had tons of them that proBABLY drove my mother nuts!

I hate text talk with a fiery passion.

I do not text talk and such with my phone just because I have a full qwerty keyboard; therefore, I spell all of my words out fully and clearly.

I hate 1337 speak also, it is very annoying and n00bs should die if they use it.

I have a just-turned-twelve-year-old cousin on Facebook (which is ridiculous in itself), and almost every time she posts something, she and her friends will proceed to have a conversation on it in the comments complete with pleeeenty of "IKR?!" and "prolly." You would go insane if you had to read all of that every day.

I hate people who say the following "I have to ax you a question" or "Can I ax you a question?" Pisses me off...
