It's national teach a friend to homebrew day and I've got a few people coming over to help me drain my kegs...and learn how to brew with me

I'll be whipping up 5 gallons of Denny Conn's famous Rye IPA while watching the game tonight.

...and yes, cognac or brandy snifter would be appropriate. Enjoy it around 55 degrees...not too cold.
You should also drink it with a friend because a whole bottle by yourself may be a bit much

Yeah...This is my second batch of this recipe. I still have about 3 gallons in the kegerator, but it takes 3 weeks to condition / dry-hop so I'm making it now so I don't run out for too long

It's tasty stuff. Nice and hoppy with a good hop aroma and a bit of the spice bite from the rye.
