I'm growing mine, too, but the back of my head's hair grows WAY faster than the front so I have to keep trimming it up.

I actually think it looks really good at the length it is, but seriously grow it. I will always advise growing hair out in these situations. I'm going to be one of those people that never cuts my kids' hair...

I'd say keep it the same length it is now.

I grew out my hair, and instead of settling for buzzcuts, I keep it a medium length now.
