Harry was saying groin. Was it Harry? Think so. Someone within our broadcast team said he tweaked his groin.

Yeah, it's a groin injury. Lindy addressed it in his post-game press conference. He said something along the lines of how Mike didn't think it was too serious, but then he commented on how other player's groin injuries (Lydman, and possibly Lalime) weren't supposed to keep them out for a significant amount of time, but they did...

It better not be anything serious. :( That is all I have to say. Mike Grier cannot be injured. Nooooo.

I was wondering who he was talking about there.

Lindy went with the whole, "He could play tomorrow, or he could miss some time." charade...not good.

"Mike is a little sore," coach Lindy Ruff said. "We don't anticipate it being too long, but he could miss a little time. He could. There's still a chance he could play tomorrow, too."

I read ankle somewhere yesterday but I didn't post it because everywhere else said groin.

I just noticed that on WGR, too.

Interesting...

That's why everyone uses "lower body" injury - Nice and ambiguous.

...maybe he caught his dick in his fly. And they can't decide how to break the news, without making a laughingstock of themselves.

:D

That would be right up there with that basketball player who missed some time because he injured his ankle tripping over his kid's tricycle in the driveway. Or the one who was out a few games because he hurt himself trying to reach the remote.

Who was the hockey player a few years ago who injured himself when reaching for a cracker.
