that might have been one of the best periods i've seen this team play so far this season. energy and intensity wise. very nice period. now the test is if they can keep it up for the next 40 minutes.

That period was so fun. Sabres keep this up and it'll be a very long night for the Flames. Sabres are pulling Kipper out of position a lot and they HAVE to cash in.

I'm not liking the ocassional absence of Hockey "brains" - Players running into each other, in their own zone? Players waiting for a team-mate to take the puck, and watching a goal get scored?

Roy is playing fucking ridiculous tonight! Keep it up! That Mac-Roy-Poms line looks really really good, except for Pommers missing 2 golden opportunities. I'm liking Kaleta on the 3rd line too. More ice time for him is a great idea
