I love being able to sleep in until 11:00 on Mondays and Fridays now. Tomorrow will be the first time I take advantage of the sweetness.

Dude, recess was shitty where I went to school.

I was homeschooled till high school, so whenever I finished with everything for the day, that was that.

...I almost always finished by 11:00 and then had the rest of the day to play outside with my brothers and cousins (they were over 5-6 days a week, or we'd go there; usually they were at our place, though) and the neighbor kids, because we were all homeschooled at the time. And I lived on a 3000-acre farm, at the end of a private mile-long dirt road, with just that one family as neighbors. The place was HUGE, and we were free to roam all of it, all the fields and the woods and the creek and even the sheep pens lol. EPIC. Being homeschooled also enabled me to be watching TV on 9/11 when the special news report came on, sitting on the couch eating cereal for breakfast, when most others my age were in sixth grade (I was in seventh lol) and therefore not knowing of much until they got home from school.

Well I just ordered a HDD enclosure for the 320GB HDD I have lying around my room to use as a music and video storage drive, and so I can clean up this computer and maybe install Windows 7 on it.

have any of you ever heard someone say that's what he said? I thought of a moment for that exact saying yesterday.

Ouch

I was so bummed when when the anthems started and I noticed not one section was not completely full. I think 4,000 was even being generous when they announced it at the end of the game. Awesome game, but the horrible turnout was a bummer. Probably get bigger crowds in Portland...

When did Larry King's youngest son get to be like ten. Last I knew he was a toddler. Then I saw a picture of him today randomly and was all, "What is this."

Additionally, I really have to start looking into getting a paid internship this next summer. I neeeeeeeeeds one. I'm going to be in Russia for all of May minus about four days, so by the time I get back there won't be any jobs (and I hate my current one so I don't want to go back after I work there one last time over semester break lol)... plus internships in the field I am studying will be great when I apply for jobs after school... plus experience is the best teacher... aaaaand etc. I want to put mah book learnin' to good use.

I kind of want to study abroad. Too expensive, though. I don't have $15,000 to study in Ireland for a semester without student loans. lol at the thought of having that much money just sitting around.

Moscow, St. Petersburg, and several small villages. I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to be doing yet, although I know that we will be staying with local hosts and doing a lot of going to museums and such plus devoting several days to basically play with kids in orphanages. I'll be with a group of nine other people, including someone who lived there for a number of years, knows the language and culture, and has plenty of friends there (hence why we'll be able to stay in villages and not be like "O HAI WE'RE AMERICANS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHERE WE EVEN ARE RIGHT NOW"). The main point of the trip is immersion in a different culture. I can't wait to go.

My finger tips and the lips do the work, yeah.
My hips do the flicks as I walk, yeah.
With a good head I came to make it.
With a good head I came to break it.

I'm tired, listening to some SRV, and glad the Sabres won.

My question is this: why has it taken this long to see clothes that I really, really like at normal stores? I'll have to wait a couple more months for them to show up on clearance racks so that I can actually purchase them, but dood, I like them a lot. Except no stores are honest about the inspiration behind them. "Disco." Yeah, OK.
