I'm not sure I like Mair being a healthy scratch. He sure helped set the tone during last nights game with that 42 second fight. Philly is another tough team where we need to set the tone early and show them that the game on the fourth was just a bad day. Having Mair drop them early in the 1st would definitely send a message.

I kind of agree with you. I like Mair, but I like seeing him scratched even better because he isn't too hot defensively.

HOWEVER

Against a team like the flyers, I don't see why you wouldn't want him in.

I'm all about Mair playing, Calgary's a physical team as is Philly so I say play him.

Where does it say Mair is scratched? Both Sabres Edge and WGR say Grier isn't playing tonight, and that's who Mair is in for. So yea, Mair is probably playing.
