Seemed like they were trying to face wash him all game long.

I think Briere is a bit of a pain in the ass to play against. I got that impression when he played for Buffalo

Something a lot of Sabres fans realized when Briere left is that he's kind of dirty and a serious pain in the ass. Seems like it just took the Sabres themselves a little extra time.

His groin spears should be legend by now, the little prick.

Who was that one guy on the Bruins who pretty much called out Briere for being a diver?

Well OV did deserve that one Briere gave him. One cheap shot deserves another I guess :D

Didn't Miller say something about Briere in his post game?

That's the only one that was well-deserved. I think we as fans ignored his dirty little tactics because he was busy scoring 95 points and leading the team in playoff scoring ;)

Yeah he did! Something about his double minor high stick...

Yeah, he said a sarcastic remark about their "good friend Danny Briere" and his "nonchalant" high sticks.

"They like to play a chippy game, you know, uh, our good friend, Danny Briere, with a nice uh, nonchalant high stick to the face, you know... standard protocol stuff."

Clearly said sarcastically. I think they all hate his guts.

What is this "non shallot" that you speak of? ;)

That was shifty. I liked it.
Briere is shifty. I don't like that. That is unless he's on our team again so I can ignore how dirty he is. He gets away with it most of the time because he is small and innocent looking.

That's it, nice memory dude.

Briere was the first guy to embrace Miller after the Sens/Sabres brawl game in '07. I'm sure there is a degree of respect for eachother, but that high stick and the comment after won't help.

eh... could just be some friendly jesting though. You never really know to be certain. If one of my good friends was on another team I would sure as hell reak some havoc in interviews and then text him laughing later. It's tough to tell since we're not behind the scenes.

Yeah, who knows? Maybe they all grabbed a beer together after the game.

Squanto, I command you to delete the posts mentioning shallot! I will NOT be mocked!
